Authenticity
All coins guaranteed genuine as described. There are a very few
reproduction coins that are stamped COPY and noted as such in the
description. Full return privileges for any counterfeit or misidentified
coin.
Identification
While virtually every coin in the Dodge collection is individually labeled
and identified, the numbering system used by Mr. Dodge to identify
some of the coins ten or twenty years ago no longer corresponds to
the current Krause/Mishler system. Thus a coin might be identified on
the envelope as Y-17, where under the current system it now would be
a KM 23.1, or whatever. No attempt has been made to correct these
older numbers on the coin holders except where individual coins are
encapsulated or described as a single lot.
Grading
Except where noted, all coins are sold "raw", or unslabbed. Some of
the higher value coins are being graded by NGC and their grade will be
available upon request. Thousands of other coins are still in the
original mint packaging they were in at the time of issue. These may
include proofs as well as uncirculated coins that have no Mint State
grade assigned to them: they are as their respective Mints made
them, whatever grade that may correspond to in the current American
grading system.
Requesting Information About A Specific Coin
As you can imagine, many collectors would like to know if this or that
specific coin or token is in the Dodge collection. Please be assured we
will make every effort to answer any specific questions. However, each
lot is sold as an intact, self-contained collection. While no individual
pieces will be pulled from the lot for private sale, we will verify
whether a specific piece is in the collection if requested.
Ordering Information
All lots will be shipped through the U.S. Postal Service via registered
mail. Postage, insurance, shipping & handling charges will be added to
the final invoice.
Payment Methods
All payments must be in U.S. funds. All payments must be by money
order, cashiers check or cash. No credit cards or personal checks
accepted.
